  1.  Constitution of the committee to be the same as has been in operation for several years.
  2.  BDO rules to apply, (Bust Rule).
  3.  Any changes in rules must be carried by a 66% majority of members that are present at the AGM.
  4.  Only qualified players from the previous season, and acting officers are allowed to vote at an AGM.
  5.  All rules to be passed by the committee.
  6.  The league shall be called, The Melksham and District Monday Darts League.
  7.  The height of the board to be 5'8" from the centre of the bullseye to the floor.
  8.  Length of throw to be 7'9 and 1/4" from the supporting wall by a preffered use of a RAISED OCHE.
  9.  Score to be marked by the HOME team, AWAY team should call out the scores.
  10.  League matches to consist of one game of 4-a-side, two games of Doubles and four games of Singles.
  11.  4-a-side to play ALL 3 legs of 701, straight start, double finish.
  12.  Doubles to play ALL 3 legs of 501, straight start, double finish.
  13.  Singles to play ALL 3 legs of 501, straight start, double finish.
  14.  Bullseye to count 50 or Double 25.
  15.  AWAY team to throw first in the 4-a-side, and then alternate starts throughout the match.
  16.  Names of the 4-a-side to be entered onto the scorecard and then played, and then Doubles names to be entered onto the scorecard, and then played, finally  entering the 4 singles names onto the scorecard and playing to complete the match.
  17.  Match fees to be £7-00 per team per match, which also covers competition fees.
  18.  League to consist of no more than 16 teams per season.
  19.  League to play on a Monday night, including cup competitions of Singles, Doubles etc, with the exception of the 1st and 2nd rounds of the KO cup.
  20.  Non attendance of meetings by a team captain or his-her representative will result in a deduction of 7 points from the offending team(s).
  21.  New players entering the league may attend the AGM, but are not allowed to vote, (see rule 4).
  22.  Each player must have played in at least 2 separate league matches, to be eligible to play in the semi-final or final of the Knockout Cup.
  23.  HOME team to provide Bread and Cheese, including Cup Competitions. If a match requires re-arranging at very short notice, (where food has already been prepared), then a contribution for that food must be made to the home team on the re-arranged date, (suggestion of £5-00).
  24.  In the case of more than one team playing from the same venue, then a player may only "sign-on" for one team for that season.
  25.  NO transfer can be entertained until the end of season.
  26.  NO player can play from or at a venue that he/she is barred.
  27.  In any competiton, roll call will be at 8-15pm, play to commence at 8-30pm.
  28.  League matches to commence at 8-30pm and be continuous play.
  29.  The highest checkout of the night to be recorded on the scorecard every match.
  30.  100+ scores to be recorded in all legs of league match singles only.
  31.  180's to be recorded in all legs of all games in league matches only.
  32.  Points for and against will be the match score in legs won and lost.
  33.  League winners will be the team with the most points won, if tied; a playoff between the tied teams will take place on a board decided by the committee.
  34.  All venues for competitions will be allocated at the AGM, excluding the presentation venue.
  35.  ALL LEAGUE MONIES MUST BE PAID ON OR BEFORE THE AGM 
  36.  Any monies owing not paid to the league will result in that team and it's players being barred from the league until paid in full.
  37.  Trophies to be engraved at the leagues expense.
  38.  All league scorecards to be received by the FRIDAY following the match.
  39.  A deduction of 7 points will be made against any team cancelling a match, EXCEPT when in the opinion of the committee exceptional circumstances prevail.
  40.  Meetings to take place at 7-30pm on Monday nights as designated on the fixture sheet, where it would be expected that fees for matches played are to be paid.
  41.  All league matches that do not take place on the night allocated by the fixture list MUST fulfil the said fixture on the first available free week. The league commottee will deal with non-compliance.
  42.  All teams must register a CAPTAIN and a VICE CAPTAIN who are then BOTH eligible to play in the Captains Cup. No further substitutions will be entertained.
  43.  The semi-finals and the final of cup competitions, (except KO Cup), to be best of 5 legs.
